Abstract
Five cis- and trans-eudesmanolide sesquiterpenes mere isolated from We delia prostrata (Compositae) collected in Egypt and their structures m ere elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The conformations of the tran s-eudesmanolides are discussed on the basis of their coupling constant s in the H-1-NMR spectra.
