Abstract
The edema bar is a new device that therapists can add to their reperto ire of treatment approaches for burn patients. This article looks at t he challenges therapists encounter while working with burn patients an d describes the edema bar's design, its application to the burn rehabi litation process, and the multidisciplinary approach to ifs use.
