Abstract
High-resolution measurements of the reversible magnetization of YBa2Cu 3O7-delta single crystals which were grown in gold crucibles and zirco nia crucibles reveal that, within the experimental accuracy, gold impu rities do not influence the normal-state susceptibility, the upper cri tical field, nor the superconducting fluctuation phenomena.
