Abstract
Kraft pulps from a range of mature and plantation eucalypt wood sample s were bleached with elemental chlorine-free (EGF) and totally chlorin e-Gee (TCF) sequences. Pulps from conventional and extended delignific ation pulping procedures were used. Brightness levels: above 90% ISO w ere attainable with 100% chlorine dioxide whereas slightly lower level s (about 89%) were achieved with TCF sequences.
