Abstract
The limiting parameter for the application of various thin film organi c conductors is their conductivity value. Because of strong interfacia l effects, which cause nonohmic voltage drops, impedance spectroscopy is one of the best methods of measuring their conductivity, This techn ique was used with both blocking and in a three electrode cell for in situ measurements of synthetic metals. Results allow calculation of th e conductivity and also permit a study of the properties of the phase boundary between the electrode and the electrolyte.
