Abstract
A magnetostochastic resonance (MSR) in easy-axis ferrite-garnet films has been experimentally observed. The tunneling parameters of bistable systems with volumes as small as 10(-10) cm(3) have been evaluated. A n MSR application in scanning tunneling microscopy for detection of st ates of individual atoms is discussed.
