Abstract
The tide compounds 2a-e and 6-butoxy-3-phenyl-1,2-oxazine (3) have bee n prepared using a hetero Diels-Alder reaction of nitrosoalkenes, gene rated in situ from alpha-haloacetophenone oximes. A simple synthesis o f 6-alkyl-3-phenyl-1,5,2-dioxazines (5a-b) is also reported.
