Abstract
The title compounds have been synthesised and their antimicrobial acti vity studied against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. It ha s been shown that the p-nitro and p-dimethylamino derivatives of the t itle compounds exhibit maximum activity against both the organisms.
