Abstract
ELECTROMAGNETIC (EM) effects must often be included to make a software model complete, In many cases, a traditional microwave circuit simula tor may fall short when there is parasitic coupling between densely-pa cked circuits; when there are topological differences between a model and existing circuit libraries; when the model range of a simulator is exceeded in length, width, or frequency; or when radiation effects (w hether desired or undesired) occur. Fortunately, Maxwell Strata from A nsoft Corp, (Pittsburgh, PA) provides the accuracy associated with EM simulation but without long computing times.
