NONCOMMUTATIVE DIFFERENTIAL FORMS AND STE ENROD OPERATIONS

In this Note, we apply the theory of non-commutative differential form s ([2], [4], [5]) in order to define the Steenrod operations in Algebr aic Topology [6] on the level of classifying spaces in cohomology. We describe their main properties and give an interpretation of them in t erms of infinite symmetric products, as introduced by Dold and Thom [3 ].
