Abstract
The macro- and fine structure of dry- and wet-spun butyrylchitin filam ents are studied using high, medium, and low molecular weight butyrylc hitin. Density, optical, mechanical, and thermal properties and physic ochemical properties such as solubility and dyeability of the filament s are examined.
