Abstract
The reaction of tert-butyltrichlorosilane with an excess of ammonia le ads to the formation of a tetrasilabicyclo[3,3.1.]nonane, an NH-bridge d cyclotetrasilazane. The crystal structure of the compound (Me(3)CSi) (4)Cl-2(NH)(5) is described.
