Using the theoretical alpha-cluster wave functions, alpha-spectroscopi
c factors for the members of the parity doublet K(pi)=0+ and 0-bands i
n Ti-44 have been deduced by the finite-range distorted wave Born appr
oximation analyses of the (Li-6,d) reaction on Ca-40. Form factors for
Ti-44 were calculated with a local potential model which describes al
pha-elastic scattering from Ca-40 and the resonating group method, res
pectively. The resulting spectroscopic factors for alpha-cluster state
s in Ti-44 are greater than 0.1, which supports an alpha-cluster model
for Ti-44.
