Abstract
The features of titanium powder crystallization in sodium-thermal redu ction of lower titanium chlorides were considered. Refining of the sta rting reagents - metallic sodium and lower titanium chlorides - was st udied. The influence of manufacturing factors and operating conditions of reducing and processing the reaction mass on the structural charac teristics of titanium powders and on the impurity contents was studied .
