P. Bydzovsky et R. Mach, NUCLEON-NUCLEON BOUND-STATE CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROTON-SCATTERING BY NUCLEI, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 47(5), 1993, pp. 2414-2417
Sensitivity of proton-nucleus scattering is studied to the off-shell b
ehavior of the nucleon-nucleon (NN) effective interaction, particularl
y to the presence of the NN bound state. The effect is found to be neg
ligible in a kinematical region where an optimal factorization approxi
mation is justified. A sensitivity can be seen below 100 MeV of beam e
nergy and for the light nuclei (C-12, O-16). The effect is more pronou
nced for a tensor part of the NN t matrix which is shown in the charge
-exchange cross section of proton scattering from C-13.
