Abstract
Field latex from Bangladesh was concentrated by creaming method. The e ffects of concentration of creaming agent, concentration of preservati ve, standing time and temperature on creaming were studied in order to determine the optimum condition for creaming. The physico-chemical pr operties of the creamed latex were compared to the requirements of AST M. The tensile properties of irradiated centrifuged latex and creamed latex films were compared. The irradiated creamed latex film exhibits almost similar tensile properties to those of the centrifuged latex fi lm.
