Abstract
The authors present an overview of Windows 95-based English-Japanese T ranslation Support Software ''E/J System'', adapted for Internet, whic h has been developed as a software to be bundled on notebook-size pers onal computer ''PC-A400'' series. The focus is on the new functions, p hrase-to-phrase and word-for-word translation functions, and the impro vement mode on the system's basic/technical term dictionaries as well as the evaluation results of the translation performance.
