Abstract
The absorption of hydrogen sulfide in drops of alkaline solutions of s odium hydroxide and sodium carbonate was studied experimentally under the conditions of comparable mass-transfer resistances in the gas and liquid phases. The study has confirmed the rightfulness of using a met hod taking account of the nonstationary character of the absorption fo r calculating this process.
