Abstract
Time-resolved fluorescence spectra have been measured for rhodamine dy es in glycerol and propylene glycol in the 210-280 K temperature range . The energy relaxation dynamics of excited molecules in these glass-f orming matrices are discussed on the basis of the observed time depend ence of the peak energy and the width of the fluorescence spectrum.
