Abstract
The coupling of atoms/molecules with bulk fluctuations, phonons is a c entral problem in the understanding of the mechanisms of spectral broa dening and relaxational phenomena in optical spectroscopy. We report h ere experimental evidence for the enhancement of the bulk modes throug h electron-phonon coupling, by time- and frequency-domain near-resonan ce spectroscopy.
