Abstract
The resolution of 3-amino-1,2-propanediol derivatives has been carried out by way of enzymatic catalysed hydrolyses or acylations. S substra tes are preferentially attacked, and hydrolysis of the diisobutyrate d erivative with E.30000 lipase gave the best enantioselectivity.
