Abstract
In recent years, it has become abundantly clear that Alzheimer's disea se (AD) represents a significant public health problem This realizatio n has led to an increase in the numbers of patients and families who v isit neurologists seeking evaluations as well as answers to questions about the disorder's character and course. This article discusses epid emiologic research findings relating to these and other clinical issue s in AD.
