Abstract
The role of vitamin B6 in the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS ) has been supported by some authors. Other authors debate the usefuln ess of vitamin B6 in carpal tunnel syndrome therapy. This article revi ews vitamin B6 actions, deficiency, and its role in carpal tunnel synd rome treatment. The value of vitamin B6 therapy in idiopathic carpal t unnel syndrome appears to be limited. Vitamin B6 may be useful in thos e patients with a generalized neuropathy and chronic pain condition.
