Abstract
Recurrent carpal tunnel syndrome is a difficult problem facing hand su rgeons today, and its incidence is rising. In selected cases, re-explo ration, median nerve neurolysis, and dermal-fat grafting are beneficia l. The surgeon should anticipate 30% to 50% absorption of the graft.
