Abstract
The magnetic groundstate properties of the two-dimensional Hubbard mod el are investigated using generalized Gutzwiller wave-functions with s piral magnetic order. Employing variational Monte Carlo simulations th ese wave-functions are treated without approximations on finite lattic es. The resulting phase diagram shows para-, ferro-, antiferro- and sp iral magnetic phases of different types.
