R. Hung et Hw. Dommel, SYNCHRONOUS MACHINE MODELS FOR SIMULATION OF INDUCTION-MOTOR TRANSIENTS, IEEE transactions on power systems, 11(2), 1996, pp. 833-838
Induction motors form a considerable portion of industrial loads; henc
e, the analysis of their performance is often required in system studi
es. The analysis is either concerned with steady-state performance, or
with transient performance during start-up and during system disturba
nces. The Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP) is one type of com
puter program which can be used for transient analysis. This paper pre
sents the details of using the existing EMTP synchronous machine model
to simulate induction motor transients.
