Abstract
The paper presents a new steady state operation model and for the firs t time introduces a transient state operation model for the generator in the power plant training simulators. The steady state operation mod el precisely includes the effect of the magnetic saturation in the gen erator by using the M.M.F.-E.M.F. phasor diagram method and also meets the real-time simulation requirement by using the iteration method wi th a changeable step size. Based on the artificial neural networks met hod, the transient state operation of the generator can be simulated o n a real-time basis and the simulation results are precise. With the a ddition of the generator transient state operation model, the function of power plant training simulators is expanded.
