Some new spirosulphonamoyl naphthenes have been prepared and bilogical
ly evaluated. Thus, condensation of 1-oxa-4-thiaspiro[4,4]nonan-2-one,
[4,5]-decan-2-one and 5-methyl-1--oxa-4-thiaspiro[4,5]decan-2-one wit
h substituted sulphonamide giving the title systems (Ia-1 - IIIa-1), r
espectively. All the prepared compounds have been screened in vitro fo
r studying the antibacterial and antifungal activities. The structure
of the prepared compounds was illustrated by means of spectroscopic an
alysis and the application of the reactions on chromatoplates.
