Abstract
Butyl-N-tert-butoxycarbonylaziridine-2-carboxylate and butyl-N-tert-bu toxycarbonylaziridine-2-carboxamide were synthesised and found to reac t with copper 'catalysed' Grignard reagents to give protected alpha-am ino acids in moderate to good yields. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Scie nce Ltd
