Abstract
Dielectric measurements of a homologous series MHPnCBC exhibiting diff erent phase sequences have been carried out. The results and the compa rison with the theoretical predictions of the phenomenological model a re presented for the dielectric behaviour in the smectic C-alpha phas e.
