Neutrino oscillation searches at accelerators and reactors are systema
tically studied in a simple three-flavour framework, by assuming a mas
s spectrum with one dominant mass scale and two quasi-degenerate state
s. Within this scheme, present data are analysed in detail, and precis
e bounds ale displayed in anew representation. The implications of the
atmospheric v anomaly on the discovery potential of future short/long
baseline oscillation experiments are also discussed.
