RATE CONSTANTS FOR REACTIONS OF ALIPHATIC CARBON-CENTERED RADICALS INAQUEOUS-SOLUTION

Absolute rate constants for reactions of aliphatic carbon-centered rad icals in aqueous solutions have been compiled and evaluated from the l iterature. Rate constants are included for reactions of radicals with inorganic and organic compounds and for decay by radical-radical react ions. The radicals were generated by radiolysis, photolysis, or other techniques, and their rate constants were determined generally by kine tic spectrophotometry. The tables include data for over 2,500 reaction s of 373 radicals from 740 literature references. (C) 1996 American In stitute of Physics and American Chemical Society.
