Abstract
Stroke is uncommon in neurosarcoidosis, despite histological evidence of vessel involvement by granulomatous process. We describe recurrent cerebral ischemias in a young man affected by sarcoidosis. Haematologi cal investigations revealed tile presence of anticardiolipin antibodie s and lupus anticoagulant. Stroke in neurosarcoidosis is probably due to several different mechanisms, one of which could be the presence of a hypercoagulability state.
