Abstract
The millimetre-wave ferromagnetic resonance linewidths have been measu red for polycrystalline samples of barium ferrite with different degre es of crystal alignment. A theory is given which relates the linewidth and lineshape to the crystallite distribution and has allowed calcula tion of the distribution and comparison with experimentally determined forms.
