C. Dercole et al., GASLESS LAPAROSCOPIC GYNECOLOGIC SURGERY, European journal of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology, 66(2), 1996, pp. 137-139
Objective: Evaluate gasless laparoscopic gynecologic surgery as an alt
ernative to conventional technique with carbon dioxide insufflation. S
tudy design: Retrospective study of 49 cases. Results: Gasless laparos
copic gynecologic surgery was successful in 90% of cases. The gasless
technique permits the surgical team to use the laparoscopic and vagina
l approach simultaneously. Conclusions: Gasless laparoscopic gynecolog
ic surgery seems to be a reliable alternative to conventional laparosc
opy for selected indications.
