Abstract
A low pressure sewer system using grinder pumps was installed, mainly by volunteers and town residents, to upgrade a small town's sewage dis posal system. Performance of the system has consistently met or exceed ed expectations. The case study presented in this article proves that a small community with severe budget constraints can work together to provide a healthier environment for its residents.
