Abstract
A thermoelectric method for rapid control of machine-building products simultaneously by two parameters, namely, the value of the thermo-e.m .f. and the temperature of the contact between a heated electrode and the product, is described. The method can be implemented with the use of specially developed devices or existing devices with an improved co nverter. The method is shown to be applicable for determination of the thermal conductivity of metal materials and control of the chemical c omposition under production conditions.
