Abstract
A chart (62 x 82 cm) for veterinary herd health management based on a hand written card system is presented. The chart serves basic needs es pecially in small Swiss dairyherds. It is easily understood and immedi ately installed for the enduser, the farmer and veterinarian. Furtherm ore and EXCEL(R)-based tool is programed to assist in standard data an alyses. This chart meets the needs for documentation in quality assura nce programs within dairy production.
