Abstract
We report an asymmetric synthesis of the taxol and taxotere side chain s by hydroxylation of enolates derived from N-substitued methyl 3-amin o-3-phenyl propionate with the oxodiperoxymolybdenum (pyridine) (hexam ethyl phosphoric triamide) complex (MoOPH).
