75 occasions of suicide attempts carried out by self-burning were anal
ysed. It was revealed that the individuals in the age of 40-49 (unempl
oyeds and disables) as well as physically working people predominated
in most cases. Suicides were usually performed out of working sphere.
In more than 70% of occasions either alcohol intoxication or some psyc
hic diseases (which did not combine in one person) accompanied this ki
nd of injury. No sex prevalence was observed in this group of patients
