Abstract
A system has been developed for the graphical processing and interpret ation of eddy-current sensor signals on the basis of an IBM personal c omputer. The signals are represented as three-dimensional frequency sp ectra of various types. That representation raises the signal-noise ra tio substantially in eddy-current flaw detection on components and fue l rods in power reactors. Artificial defects are represented by means of a three-dimensional graph.
