Xl. Shi et al., THE EFFECT OF PRESTRAINING TEMPERATURE ON THE MECHANICAL-BEHAVIOR OF NI-3(AL,HF) SINGLE-CRYSTALS, Philosophical magazine. A. Physics of condensed matter. Structure, defects and mechanical properties, 73(5), 1996, pp. 1419-1438
The response of Ni-3(Al, Hf) single crystals to repeated compression u
nder constant strain rate along the [123] orientation has been studied
within the domain of temperature of the flow stress anomaly. The infl
uence of the prestraining temperature on the plastic behaviour has bee
n investigated for various temperatures, with attention paid to the mi
crodeformation stage. The results are interpreted in terms of the comp
etition between the creation and the depletion of the mobile mixed seg
ments within a microstructure that consists of arrays of kinked Kear-W
ilsdorf locks.
