Abstract
AC Barrie hard red spring wheat is adapted to the Canadian prairies. I t combines high grain yield with high protein content. It is slightly shorter with stronger straw than Katepwa and Laura, and has resistance to leaf and stem rust, common bunt, and loose smut.
