Abstract
Venus summer rape (Brassica napus L.) is a high-erucic acid rapeseed c ultivar with canola-quality meal. Venus has an average 5% yield advant age over Hero rapeseed with seed oil and protein contents comparable t o Hero. Venus is adapted to the southern B. napus growing regions of w estern Canada.
