Abstract
The syntheses and antioxidant activities of several cyclic nitrones re lated to phenyl t-butyl nitrone (PBN) are described. These nitrones ma y act as radical scavengers and have potential uses in the treatment o f stroke and septic shock. (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
