Abstract
A Green function technique is used to study the effects of spin-phonon interactions in ferromagnetic semiconductors. The spin wave energy an d the transverse damping for two different spin-phonon interaction mec hanisms are evaluated for the first time beyond the RPA. The results a re valid below and above T(c). The temperature dependence of these qua ntities is discussed, and is found to be in agreement with the experim ental data.
