Abstract
A new three-phase rectification scheme, which draws line currents with reduced distortion and provides a regulated dc output voltage, is ana lyzed. The scheme employs two Boost dc-dc converters to modulate the d c link currents. The modulation current is injected into the ac side t hrough an impedance network consisting of series tuned L-C branches. T his paper presents the theoretical analysis and the basic simulation r esults in order to carry out the design of a system based on this appr oach.
