T. Ohizumi et N. Fukuzaki, SOLUBLE FLUORIDE-ION CONCENTRATION AND DE POSITION IN ATMOSPHERIC DEPOSIT IN NIIGATA PREFECTURE, Nippon kagaku kaishi, (4), 1996, pp. 427-430
Soluble fluoride ion in atmospheric deposits collected from Niigata Pr
efecture, located along the coast of the Sea of Japan, were determined
. Soluble fluoride ion was a miner component in the atmospheric deposi
ts. In the long term sampling stations, the averaged non-seasalt fluor
ide ion (nssF(-)) concentration ranged from 0.56 to 0.63 mu eq . l(-1)
, while nssF(-) deposition flux ranged from 2.43 to 3.91 mu eq . m(-2)
. d(-1). Seasonal variation of nssF(-) concentrations and deposition f
luxes showed a tendency similar to that of non-seasalt sulfate, which
was higher in winter and lower in summer.
