Exact analytical solutions are given for stationary two-dimensional te
mperature, stress and displacement distributions in hybrid laminates c
ontaining isotropic and/or orthotropic layers. The similarity that exi
sts between the thermoelastic and piezoelastic formulations is exploit
ed in establishing solutions for cylindrical bending of piezothermoela
stic laminates exposed to combined thermo-electro-mechanical loads. Re
sults are compared with those based upon classical and high-order bend
ing theories.
