Abstract
A range of compounds of the formulae [Ru(eta(6)-arene) (HBPz(3))][PF6] and [Ru(eta(6)- arene) (HCPz(3))][PF6](2) (Pz = pyrazolyl) has been p repared by a modification of the literature method. These compounds ha ve all been characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy and the X-r ay crystal structures of [Ru(eta(6)-p-cymene) (HBPz(3))][PF6] and [RU( eta(6)-p-cymene)(HCPz(3))] [PF6](2) have been determined. The previous ly elusive compound [Ru(eta(6)-C6H6) (HB{3,5-Me(2)Pz}(3))][PF6] was ob served for the first time. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
